When doing weight resistance training in Group Exercising, a lot of the times we have music in the background deciding when we change exercises and repetitions but we are the ones counting. I am here to tell you that your music can be so much more. The bars and structure of a song can fully define the rhythm, the type of exercise, the pre-cueing, help you to remember and memorize sessions easily and give grit to the class. If your music drives the exercises, the participants will leave the session wanting more.
– Exercise and experience choreographies made from popular music. – Identify components that give a song its structure. – Analyse and develop an understanding on designing a choreography driven by music for a weight resistance session.
